- Great bar. Decent selection of taps and a surprisingly nice cocktail menu. Pizza is excellent. Staff are sound. Big beer garden out the back. Cozy inside seating area.read moreread lessLuke Manning06 Oct 2024We had a wonderful stay in the Apartment at the Kingstons in early Sept. Rooms were newly renovated, nicely furnished and very clean. The kitchen area is well stocked with anything you need to cook. The staff were all very helpful. We enjoyed the pizza at the pub as well. Plenty of free parking nearby and lots of restaurant choices. I would 100% recommend staying here.
The only improvements I would suggest is to have a luggage stand for every room and have some place in the shower to put soap and shampoo. There’s nothing in the shower to put anything except on the floor, which is very strange.read moreread lessDavid Lee28 Sep 2024If it’s available book it Stop the lights!! First time in Killorglin. Was there the busiest weekend of the year booked a good while out and got a mighty deal. A different experience. Very genuine place genuine decor and genuine staff. Wouldn’t be a pizza person - it’s their speciality - was too lazy to go anywhere else so had the pizza. Have the pizza!!! Best pizza ever!! The room was very warm and welcoming as were the staff from once you enter. Lovely pub. Was only there for overnight but if ever in the area again will make a real effort to stay here. Well worth it.read moreread lessAntathC17 Sep 2024 - Loved our stay here! - We had a room with only a skylight window, but didn’t mind it at all as it still received lots of daylight. The room was very clean and looked newly renovated.
The only thing that could be improved is space management: While the bathrooms are large, the vanity is tiny and there is almost no counter space provided. Given the size of the bathroom, you could easily fit a vanity with a few more inches of counter space and maybe a drawer underneath. There’s also a lack of places to hang towels to dry. Additionally (and a bit weirdly), the toilet is set very high.. like people under 6 ft tall probably wouldn’t be able to touch the ground.. Lastly, there are almost no plugs in the room. Everything (hair dryer, kettle, fan, phone) had to be plugged on the tiny bedside table.. kind of weird to have a tea station and vanity on the other side of the room with nowhere to plug into.
On another note, the staff were superb! Very friendly and always happy to help. The pub downstairs is also amazing. The vibe is lovely, pizza tastes great (and can be made gluten free!) and drinks are decently priced compared to other options in the region. The location is fantastic, being close to the public parking in Killorglin and being situated perfectly for easy access to both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Would stay again!read moreread lessGabriel Partington28 Jul 2024
