Kingston’s Townhouse is a newly refurbished luxury townhouse & traditional pub located in the center of Killorglin, County Kerry in the heart of the Reeks District on the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way.
Erwin & Aoife Kingston are the 4th generation business owners in the hospitality sector on this premise, Erwin’s family have been trading on Market Street since 1889! There is great history in Kingston’s, at first the business was a Public House and Drapery ran by Erwin’s great grandfather Jeremiah. The business has evolved over the last 120 years to be a Public House and Luxury Townhouse Accommodation.

It was like staying with friends, Erwin and Aoife are wonderful hosts (and I wish them nothing but success).
Given the current Covid crisis, we felt totally safe and well looked after by all the staff. It was obvious that Kingston Townhouse were up for the challenge and met it 100%.
On the second night after a day of travelling around Dingle, we had booked a table in the bar where we enjoyed the most delicious pizza I have tasted outside of Italy and indulged in a couple of glasses of wine. Aoife gave the 2 children plenty of colouring and word searches to do. It was really a lovely family evening.
We will definitely be back and I really couldn't rate Kingston Townhouse high enough.....

There is lovely traditional bar attached to the hotel with friendly staff.
After a great night's sleep we availed of the breakfast which offered a wide choice of cereals, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses.
It is an ideal location for those visiting the area or taking in the Ring of Kerry.
The owner Erwin is most hospitable and is to be complimented on his establishment and the staff for their friendly and professional service.
I highly recommend a stay here.

The accommodation area is smart, new, modern but designed with traditional comfort in mind. The bar area is original Irish traditional inc.old polished wood, a wall of gleaming Irish whiskey bottles behind the bar and a wood burning stove.
Erwin, our host was warmly welcoming. We could see that he genuinely wanted to help make our stay the best.
We shall most certainly be returning to Kingston's Townhouse.
I travel a lot with work and often head into areas that I am not familiar with. After a long days travelling I was welcomed by the owner (Erwin) and... read more immediately felt at home. A quick bag drop off in the room (which he carried) I was down in the bar with a Guinness in hand and locals welcoming me to the area.
The room was very modern, including the bathroom and comfot was at a high level. The breakfast was perfect for me, I’d class it as continental but I only really need a bowl of granola, fruit, croissant and coffee to see me on my way. They always had meats. Fresh salmon, cheeses etc.
The staff were exceptionally friendly. It went beyond a simple hello and you were always addressed you by your name so they obviously take their clients seriously.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough, sadly I may not be back in the area again soon but if I was this would be my first stop.
