Erwin & Aoife Kingston are the 4th generation business owners in the hospitality sector on this premise, Erwin’s family have been trading on Market Street since 1889! There is great history in Kingston’s, at first the business was a Public House and Drapery ran by Erwin’s great grandfather Jeremiah. The business has evolved over the last 120 years to be a Public House and Townhouse Accommodation.

We were welcomed by Erwin and Aoife the... read more amazing duo who are owners and running the venue with a very warm irish welcome. They provided much local knowledge about walks, mountain climbs and nice restaurants near by. The location is ideal for mountain climbers as it’s only 15 mins to car park to climb the stunning MacGillycuddy's Reeks mountain range. We enjoyed drinks and food in the bar the first evening which is a real irish bar experience. The staff were so friendly with a few comedians in the mix so hats off to the limerick Barman! The staff on table service were on top of their game and so attentive and cocktails were superb! Jimmy Gimlet cocktails were a winner! We had fresh homemade pizza from which was delicious! Would really love to see the menu extend overtime as would happily eat there over multiple evenings. The rooms were newly renovated and to a high standard so they were immaculate and bathroom especially the beautiful double shower was fabulous! I love they use eco friendly products and are environmentally conscious so huge plus! Our continental Breakfast was a real treat with lovely brown bread and other local produce and a fabulous local lady who took great care of us Highly recommend this location for groups! More

It was like staying with friends, Erwin and Aoife are wonderful hosts (and I wish them nothing but success).
Given the current Covid crisis, we felt totally safe and well looked after by all the staff. It was obvious that Kingston Townhouse were up for the challenge and met it 100%.
On the second night after a day of travelling around Dingle, we had booked a table in the bar where we enjoyed the most delicious pizza I have tasted outside of Italy and indulged in a couple of glasses of wine. Aoife gave the 2 children plenty of colouring and word searches to do. It was really a lovely family evening.
We will definitely be back and I really couldn't rate Kingston Townhouse high enough.....

Erwin and his wife Aoife are such lovely... read more hosts, our room was beautiful, super comfy bed and fab furnishings. Breakfast was also a delight, called a wellbeing breakfast - it certainly restored ours! - delicious homemade breads, local cheeses, smoked salmon and homemade preserves.
I would definitely recommend is a great place to stay which ticks all the boxes. Almost forget we also had great craic and pints in their fab beer garden on Saturday night

The staff are very welcoming and really couldn’t do enough for us. We’re definitely going to recommend this hotel to our friends and family are already thinking about our next trip back.
