The majestic McGillycuddy Reeks provide us with not only great hikes but amazing scenic bike routes! From a leisurely cycle from Killorglin to Cromane to the ultimate challenge of the Ring of the Reeks there is something for everyone.

Dooks Golf Club

Killorglin is the perfect base for the keen golfer with Killorglin Golf Club offering majestic views of Castlemaine harbour. Dooks Golf Club is a 10 minute drive and Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is a mere 15 minutes drive away with 2 championship courses and stunning views of the McGillycuddy Reeks mountain range and Killarney Lakes.

Waterville Golf Links, Kenmare Golf Club and Dingle Golf Club are an hours drive from the town.

K FEST festival at Kingstons

Killorglin is best known for Ireland’s oldest festival, Puck Fair, which started over 400 years ago! K-FEST is a multi-discipline Music & Arts festival that started in 2013 and happens annual on the June Bank Holiday weekend. Biddy’s Day is an ancient Celtic festival celebrated annually in February.

Killorglin is also home to Christmas in Killorglin and a wonderful St Patrick’s Day Parade.
