Kingstons Bar has been in operation since 1889, first founded by John Sheehan, Erwin’s great grandfather, the publican trade is alive and well in this family run bar. The bar has definitely changed over the years the quality of the porter is as good as ever.
The pub itself is warm and cozy, the fireplace inside the front door is very welcoming especially after a long day exploring the Reeks District. The newly added snugs make for a perfect hide way for a sneaky pint or two.
The bar boasts an extensive whiskey list, if you aren’t sure which one to choose, the staff are sure to point you to their favourites. Kingstons cocktails are a favourite of tourists and locals, whether you are drinking them on their own or enjoying them alongside one of our artisan pizzas.

We are delighted that Kingstons Beer Garden is one of the music venue’s for the ever popular K-Fest Music & Arts Festival that happens annually on the June Bank Holiday weekend, the venue comes alive with the different acts that take to the stage. Don’ t forget Puck Fair, the 400 year old festival that sees the bar and beer garden packed every August 10th, 11th & 12th, this festival has to be experienced to be believed.
