Dooks Golf Course – 15 minutes from our front door you will arrive at Dooks Golf Course, one of Ireland’s oldest links courses. With majestic views of the Wild Atlantic Ocean and the McGuillycuddy Reeks mountain range, Dooks Golf Links offers a visual feast of scenery at the edge of Dingle Bay as well as a technical challenge for all golfers.
Waterville Golf Links – A true links course overlooking Ballinaskelligs Bay, this picturesque course is just an hour away from Killorglin, and well worth the trip.
Tralee Golf Club – The first European course to be designed by Arnold Palmer, he famously said “I may have designed the first nine, but surely God designed the back nine”. The links feature towering dunes, undulating fairways, punishing rough and cliff top tees and greens.
Ballybunion Golf Club – Approximately 50 minutes away from Killorglin, Ballybunion is located on the north-west coast of County Kerry, on a beautiful stretch of sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, you’ll find two challenging and unique world-class links golf courses – the Old Course and the Trent Jones Cashen Course.
Killarney Golf & Fishing Club – Four time venue for the Irish Open, overlooking the Lough Leane, Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is home to two 18 hole championship courses, Killeen and Mahony’s point. They also have a 9 hole course, Lackaban and driving range.
Hogs Head – the newly developed Hogs Head is a hard and fast links course that flow naturally with the visual tapestry of Waterville. Experience majestic cliff holes overlooking the Ballinskelligs bay, the Finglas River flowing through this beautiful, challenging 18-hole course.
Dingle Links – Known locally as Ceann Sibeal, is located on the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, this course is farthest from Killorglin, it is an hour and 15 minute drive. Nestled on the edge of Ireland’s dramatic south-west coastline, Dingle Golf Links is beautiful place to play.
Killorglin Golf Course – Killorglin Golf Course is just 7 minutes from Killorglin town. This 18 hole Par 72 parkland course boasts impressive views of Castlemaine Harbour and the McGuillycuddy Reeks.
Beaufort Golf Course – Beaufort Golf Club is a superb 18 hole parkland championship golf course located just 13 minutes from Killorglin Town, it is a wonderful course in stunning surroundings and is enjoyable for all standards of golfers.
Ring of Kerry Golf Course – An hour from Killorglin via the remarkable Ballaghbeama Gap, the course tightly clings to the natural contours of over 150 acres of rolling Kerry hillside, with panoramic vistas of Kenmare Bay.
Kenmare Golf Club – Kenmare Golf Club boasts some of the finest scenery imaginable. The views over Kenmare Bay and the surrounding mountains breathtaking. The course has some great feature holes and is always in first class condition.
We are very lucky to be less and than an hour from so many great golf courses in Kerry, many are only minutes from our door step.
